Well, my vacation was good. The family reunion was interesting ...

... And then I came back, only to find that LJ has gone more into the toilet than I had thought (wished) was possible. 
I'm keeping an eye on Fandom_flies,  when things are set up I'll go where they go. Because, honestly, this is fucking ridiculios.

I leave first thing tomorrow to go to NB for the family picnic.

I still can't manage a coherent opinion of Transformers (aside from OMG!SOFRIKIN'COOL!). It will probably have to wait until after I've bought it to get more specific than that.

I have read the book (as in DH) , and all that that implies.... there are issues with that, that have been and are being discussed by far better minds than mine. 


And then there was Squeeing... I saw a friend of mine from High School today. She left on the Tall Ships not long after grad and this was the first time I've seen her since. I was at work at the time so we didn't get to talk much but it was great to see her again.

Ok, so they're a work in progress, but still I've been waiting for someone to do this for YEARS! There has never been an official english print let alone an NA release, which is seriously fraged considering that the show was done for Teletoon (for lack of a better description, the canadian vers of the cartoon network). 

So...   YAY!

I've spent the better part of the past 2 hours looking for a fic and it's driving me nuts!

It's a Gundam Wing fic set during the war. Duo is called back because the scientists think he can't be controlled and they replace him with a pansy-assed punk while Duo is sent to a military academy (his hair was cut!) and Wufei goes after him to bust him out. 
I can't remember the title but it was on ff.net once as well as being on an archive dedicated to Duo fics.

If anyone here knows where I may find it could you let me know?

I'm pretty sure I pissed someone off at work. She came in at nine and asked if I would look at some magazines. I said no because I was closing and she asked if she could leave them for someone to look at tomorrow. I said no, again, because we don't do that any more (people have a habit of not coming back and we get stuck with a bunch of crap we can't use). 
I finished closing and went downstairs to the grocery store, she was heading up the stairs and she gave me a "look of doom" as I passed her by. So, yeah, fun times...

I still haven't gotten to read anything over at the PSoH Fest.

I've tried to salvage as many pics as I can from GJ and I posted the ones that I  still had saved on my comp over on DA (under shini-k) . There aren't very many though.

I've been burning Gargoyles onto DVD's and it's taking forever.

It's a fairly short  Detective Conan / Magic Kaitou series that is hilarious. No slash, but nothings perfect and there is cross-dressing, which is always fun.
